I know this has to the at least the third time for this auction. Why not just put a minimum or reserve amount on it so as to be fair to bidders on this car?
We do not disclose reserve prices. I affects bidding. If an auction does not meet the reserve price, we will lower the reserve before relisting. This helps establish a fair market value.

I currently have a Sebring just like this one. I noticed you said there was a quarter size hole in the top, where is it located, a picture of it? There are no longer parts available for these vehicles and that’s the reason I’d like to know. Sadly, I also also have a tear in mine. Thanks

Does a credit card have to be given. I don’t do that.
To clarify, your credit card will only be charged the 5% commission.
Yes it does.
What are the total fees for the buyer. It sounds like there are so many fees and could be charged any amount.
This obligation includes, but is not limited to, making full and final payment of the highest bid, as well as any associated fees, commissions, taxes, registration, titling fees, regulatory, and electronic processing charges, inspection charges, emission testing charges, and any other fees or expenses required by this Agreement or by law
The fee for the buyer is 5% of the sale price, period. The section in the terms and conditions that you are referring to means that you pay the buyer, and Classic Vehicle Auctions LLC is not responsible for any other fees (inspection, registration, taxes etc.). Please let me know if you need any other information.
Am I reading this right, Motor runs hot, needs brake work, needs tires and due to sitting so long transmission probably isn’t good. I’ve built two of these Classic Roadsters from kits. Doors hinges are pretty flimsy which usually make the doors rub but frame is nice. Sounds like a lot of work. That said, it is a fun car. Hope I’ve described it accurately. Please tell me what needs to be done to this car to be fully cosmetic beautiful and mechanically sound. Thanks
Transmission shifts smooth. Runs good but will run warm after awhile. I don’t run it hot for obvious reasons so it may just run hotter normally than I am willing to allow. Driver’s door needs adjusting from sag but passenger does not. I would put brake boosters, tune up, fuel filters etc. It doesn’t have the timing gauge on the block so that may also be the reason for running warm. A little time from someone mechanically inclined would do wonders. It’s beautiful and needs someone that can finish and appreciate it.
Is it a 302 5.0 roller lifter engine or old type 302 with flat tappet lifters? Is the transmission a Ford AOD or C4. Thanks
It is a drivetrain from a 1974 mach 1 that had 74k miles on it. 302 engine but not a 5.0
I do not know alot of details as it was my Dad’s car and after he gave it to me he passed away so now it is just a sad reminder which is why I am selling it. I do have every receipt for every part that is on it so working on it wouldn’t be difficult unlike most kit cars.
Hi Tom it will run but has been running a little hot so we don’t run it long. It is standard breaks, drums on back and discs on front with no brake booster. It needs new tires, brakes, and possibly some more breaking in due to low miles and lack of being driven over the years. Make an offer!!
Standard brakes? From a ford? Possible to find?
Reserve?
Running or not?
I will reach out to the owner regarding the brakes.
The car does run, but cannot be driven due to the brakes.
We do not disclose reserve prices, but it is VERY reasonable.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
