Overview
This 1967 Buick Electra 225 was recently acquired by the seller and features the factory equipped 430 V8 engine, original paint, and original upholstery. The vehicle is in good driving condition and all equipment is functional. The car weighs in at approximately 4300 lbs. and is over 18 feet long. This was Buick’s largest vehicle in 1967.

Exterior
The exterior of the car wears it’s original Green Mist Metallic paint with a vinyl top. Rust is present in the drivers’ side rear door sill area and can be seen in the gallery photos. The car retains it’s factory hub caps and distinctive rear wheel skirts. The chrome on the car appears to be in good condition. Additional exterior pictures can be seen in the gallery below.
Powertrain
Power is provided by the original 430 cid V8 that was factory rated at 360HP and 475 FT-LBS of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel through a “Super Turbine 400” 3 speed automatic transmission.

Interior
The interior is finished in the factory installed green vinyl and cloth. Fold-down arm rests reside in the front and rear seats. The car retains it’s original radio. The “Speed Alert” mechanism can be seen just left of the steering column. It allows the driver to move a warning needle on the speedometer to the desired position to indicate the perceived maximum safe speed. It does not actually limit the cars speed. Additional interior pictures can be seen in the gallery below.

Buick looks good for northern snow belt car…
1. Any rust under Vinyl Top..?
2. Undercarriage – how does it look underneath = floor pans; doors and window posts; windshield and rear back glass..?
3. What does car need underneath – bushings, tie-rods, exhaust, underside of trunk (trunk pan), etc.?
4. Tires decent for highway trip..?
Thanks,
Ray
…
Only rust that I know of is that shown in the photos. Undercarriage looks solid. Tires are good and could make the trip. If there is a specific thing that you want a photo of let me know. Thanks
